Job Role: Hotel General Manager
Reporting to : Director - CEO

Location: , Upper East Region, Ghana
Job Purpose
To oversee the daily operations of a 62-room hotel, provide strategic direction, plan and supervise
staff activities and ensure profit growth.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Promoting and marketing the hotel to ensure sustainable growth and revenue
Putting in place hotel systems, standard procedures and controls in addition to planning,
organisation and supervision of all hotel services, including accommodation, housekeeping,
catering, restaurant, banqueting and conference services as well as any other hotel facilities
and services.
Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and subsequent achievement of the hotel's
annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget.
Grow the clientele base and manage the ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue
and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
5. Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings activities

Educational Qualification and Experience

ii. Additional professional qualifications and training will be an added advantage. iii.

Degree / Masters in Tourism, Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a
related field.
At least 15 years’ experience in the hotel business, with at least 7 years as General Manager
or Assistant General Manager.
Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft
PowerPoint, Hotel Software, etc.
