JOB OBJECTIVE:

Our client is looking for a talented and qualified Senior Logistics Manager to plan and coordinate daily product shipments for Foremost Food And Beverages Manufacturing Company. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

■Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes

■Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce costs.

■Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.

■Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.

■Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.

■Manage and develop logistics staff.

■Support in devising strategy and solutions that delivers cost saving opportunities for the company, through effective logistics and haulage deployment in compliance with maximum safety standards.

■Ensure accurate account and management of finished goods stock from the point of production to delivery at customers’ locations

■Create and manage budgets.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

■Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering

■10+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, or transportation operations

■Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software

■Firm grasp of the supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles

■Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management is an added advantage

■Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports

■Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
