Required: Commercial Manager
The incumbent is responsible for managing existing commercial customers whilst prospecting and converting new commercial client prospect-pipeline into customers. You will be responsible to sell to these customers to meet fuel and lubricant products sales target whilst maintaining their business through excellent relationship management within the WESTOL brand pillars and HSSEQ to enable the company carry out and achieve its strategic business and people objectives.
Strong analytical and numeracy skills, Knowledge of Sales and Marketing theories and principles, Knowledge of Sales delivery benchmarks and standards, Knowledge of price risk management in the energy sector, Knowledge of local competitor dynamics, distribution channels and product offerings, Understanding of credit scoring processes and various credit extension metrics
Knowledge & Experience: First Degree in Business e.g., B Com, Economics or Marketing, An MBA will be an added advantage.
· 3 - 5 years working experience with at least 3 - 5 years in a senior management level, extensive experience working in a similar role will be advantageous
· Experience in leading a diverse Sales team
· Proven sales track record in the oil industry specifically OMC/BDC would be an advantage
