Job vacancy for HR Officer
Responsibilities
1. Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria;
2. Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professionals networks;
3. Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position;
4. Compile lists of most-suitable candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references;
5. Own and execute employee onboarding;
6. Manage performance management processes
7. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline;
8. Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders;
9. Conduct potential employee reference checks;
10. Forecast quarterly and annual hiring needs by department;
11. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates;
12. Designing succession and contingency frameworks
13. Devising diverse approaches to talent;
14. Creating development interventions for those identified as talent
Required Education and experience
1. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field;
2. Three (3) years of relevant experience in a similar role;
Professional credential, such as HR Certification Institute
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
1. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite;
2. Proficiency with social media, CV databases, and professional networks;
3. Experience in using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates
4. Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
6. Ability to make decisions free from personal bias;
7. Master negotiation skills;
