Finance Officer at Radio Entertainment Limited

Radio Entertainment Limited is hiring a Finance Officer.

Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the day to day financial and accounting systems of the company and supporting the finance team in meeting departmental targets and obiectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in daily and month-end account reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of salaries and in ensuring compliance to statutory obligations.
•  Support performance and key initiatives to help drive growth and profitability within the organization.
  Assist in the daily management and monitoring of transactions pertaining to media houses and radio listeners' usage of mobile money platforms and other payment mediums.
  Assist with petty cash disbursement and cash disbursements into company designated raffle accounts. Assist in cash flow management - forecast cash flow needs and ensure sufficient cash availability at all times. Assist in formulating financial policies for the company and ensure procedures are followed. Assist in providing administrative, logistical and procurement support to the team on ongoing operations. • Assist in proper functioning of archive and documentation system

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Business or other similar qualification.
• At least two (2) years working experience as an accounts officer, finance officer or other closely related role.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical background.
• Deep knowledge of accounting.
• Fast and willing learner who is adaptable to a unique radio gaming business model.
• Strong innovative and problem-solving skills.
• Must be an excellent team player.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Has a personal commitment to organizational excellence; displays honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decision and actions.
