The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial data. Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Liaise with external auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders as needed
- Support payroll processing and other financial tasks
- Provide support in financial analysis and reporting
- Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accountant, or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial legislation is an advantage
