Job Profile
We are looking for a strategic-thinking and competent marketing officer to join our growing organization. He/She will play a strategic role in developing and implementing marketing strategies for our various services, overseeing market research and guiding marketing activities across various channels. This position will be responsible for driving cohesive, well-rounded campaigns to promote our products/services, our digital presence, partnerships, thought leadership, experiential marketing and external communications.
The ultimate goal of our Chief Marketing Officer is to drive brand awareness and desirability, customer acquisition and retention, and sales growth, through the development and implementation of an innovative marketing strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Work with members of the Marketing Department to:
- Develop, communicate, and execute the organization's marketing and branding strategy in alignment with our business goals.
- Develop and implement cutting-edge marketing strategies to drive product adoption, engagement, conversion and brand equity.
- Leverage digital marketing channels, technology, and analytics to drive marketing effectiveness and ROl.
- Working closely with the Brand & Marketing Communications Executive, you'll have oversight responsibility over our external communications, to ensure campaigns that drive brand, reputational and commercial growth.
- Contribute to our vision by developing a strategy for Digital Marketing Communications, Thought Leadership, Events and PR, in order to favourably position the company's brand.
- Develop compelling, informative and audience-centric marketing communication materials including: Briefs, Corporate Profiles, Key Messages, Customer Presentations, Brochures, Videos, Photo Library, Advertising Copy, and digital and print content.
- Organize innovative and compelling storytelling across multiple categories and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive intelligence, and customer preferences.
- Determine KPIs for the marketing department and report on marketing strategy performance / various digital marketing channels to indicate a campaign's level of success
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies, media outlets, and influencers, as needed, for joint marketing activities.
- Contribute to shaping the agenda and content for events when needed
- Other related duties as may be assigned
Qualifications and Skill-Set:
- Bachelor's in Marketing, Brand Management, or related field; A Master's degree with a specialization in Marketing, a plus.
- 5+ years of well-rounded Marketing or Business Development experience in positions of increasing responsibility- with a focus on marketing expansion.
- 3-5 years of Management or Leadership experience;
- Proven experience as a CMO or in a similar managerial role.
- Proven experience and success across various disciplines of marketing {Strategy, Brand Management & Development, Consumer Behaviour, Product Management, Digital/Social/Traditional media, Business Development}.
- Strong marketing communication skills across digital and traditional media; Direct Marketing, Content Marketing,
- Marketing Automation, Lead Generation, and Event Marketing.
- An appreciation of the dynamism of the marketing and advertising terrain, and the ability to quickly adapt strategies to take advantage of these changes.
- Expertise in marketing tools, including Market Study, Data Analytics, Website Development, Product Branding, Visual Communication Software, Social Media best practices and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Ability to apply marketing techniques/tools over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels
- skilled at leveraging digital channels, data analytics, and consumer insights to create engaging content and campaigns.
- Experienced in managing the implementation of campaigns, PR plans, events, press conferences, etc.
- Experience managing multiple-brand portfolios and multilayer campaigns.
