Vacancy: Account and Administrative Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting and Administrative Officer to manage our financial records and provide comprehensive administrative support.
Accounting Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, manage billing cycles, and ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors
- Monitor and record office expenses, manage petty cash, and prepare expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Provide financial analysis and support during audits.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and file necessary tax documents and reports on weekly and monthly basis as required.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Organize and maintain important documents and records, both physical and electronic. Ensure documents are accessible and secure.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate internal and external communications.
- Address and resolve inquiries and issues from clients, vendors, and employees. Provide exceptional customer service and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- Candidates with experience in Construction, Architecture etc will be preferred but not a requirement.
- Experience with financial software and Tax returns systems and software systems is preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Certifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university in Ghana.
- ICA or ACCA Part 2 or 3 are a plus but not required.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
Working Conditions:
- Environment: Office-based role with standard working hours 8am-5pm.
