Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and disciplined Account Officer to manage the company’s finances and provide effective financial and accounting support to Management. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Experience Level : Senior level

Experience Length : 5 years

Job Description/Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor' s degree in Business Administration (Accounting option preferred) or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in an accounting or auditing role.
3. Professional qualification in ICA or ACCA (partly or fully qualified).
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
5. Proficiency with general ledger functions and a strong understanding of financial statements.
6. Excellent MS Excel skills and familiarity with PowerPoint.
7. Outstanding coordination and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform general accounting activities and provide financial reporting as part of the monthly closing process.
2. Prepare and review income statements and balance sheets, escalating any discrepancies to Management.
3. Assist with internal and external audits as required.
4. Oversee the company’s budget preparation and ensure proper budget management.
5. Provide ongoing financial analysis and support for business planning and decision- making processes.
