Accountant - Golden Mantek Ltd

Company Description 

GML is a light gauge steel and roof manufacturing company in Kumasi. We are looking for an experienced and devoted accountant to join our team 

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all expenses/financial transactions are properly coded in the financial system according to chart of accounts. 
2. Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports.
3. Prepare financial information for the quarterly and annual reports as required.
4. Monitors budget and tracks all expenses and disbursements against the budget.
5. Provide analysis of spending as required.
6. Ensure the project meets its legally required reporting, tax, social security, and other financial obligations . 
7. Perform general banking duties including deposits, transfers, and cashing checks.
8. Ensure financial files are audit ready. 
9. Coordinate financial operations with partners.
   

Qualification Required & Experience .

1. A Degree/HND in accounting from an accredited institution or recognized professional qualification. 
2. Minimum three (3) years of experience in financial management. 
3. Experience with project procedures, policies and compliance requirements.
   

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

1. Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Word, Excel, QuickBooks and other relevant computer applications
2. Ability to work with minimal guidance/ supervision and manage priorities and work flow 
3. Versatility, flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines with changing priorities 
4. Relationship-building skills. 
5. Demonstrable ability of team work, excellent interpersonal skills as necessary to work effectively with persons on all levels both inside and outside the company
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills
7. Must be gender sensitive
