The role details are to perform a series of tasks to ensure the company's financial security, handling essentially all financial matters and thus helping to drive the business's overall management and strategy
Responsibilities of the Job include:
- Responsible for the company's financial status, actions and transactions, preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements
- Supervising the Finance/Accounts Team in the smooth running of all accounting operations: preparing periodic financial statements, profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
- Undertaking financial administration
- Analyzing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning and forecasts, while advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
- Negotiating financing on major projects as well as offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
- Developing and managing sound financial systems/policies
- ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget, and liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context
- interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
- monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
Position Requirements & Qualification:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and CA / CIMA accreditation
- Minimum 5 years + Financial / Management Accounting experience, 2 years of which must have been in a similar role.
- Must be proficient in Tally
- Experience in a Senior management role is required
- Exceptional financial and analytical skills with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way.
- Commercial awareness, with an interest in business and an understanding of how an organization works and manages resources.
- A high level of numeracy.
- Professionalism and commitment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Project management skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels including non-finance members of staff.
- Organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Annual Gross Salary Range: GHS120k - 190k
